Ambush Wins The Mother's Day Classic

Ambush Baseball takes home the championship in their first ever 17 Baseball Tournament.

We didn't play our best baseball to start the day, but came out on top in our first game of the day. Ambush defeated the Springville Purple Tigers 16-6. Congratulations to Jack Alston, Walker Sumerel and John Martin Parrish for earning a share of the Effort Chain. John Martin Parrish also earned his second Homerun decal of the season.

In our second pool play game, mistakes continued throughout the morning and Ambush fell to RBI Scout 23-11. We did have one Homerun decal earned in game two. Congratulations to John Fox Cence on his team leading 3rd Homerun of the season.

In bracket play, these boys finally woke up and played Ambush baseball. We won the first bracket game vs Spain Park Jags Black 14-6. Congratulations to Asher Martin for earning the Effort Chain with some spectacular plays in the outfield.

Redemption was the name of the game for Ambush in the Championship against RBI Scout. Ambush never trailed win the rematch, winning 13-5. Asher Martin earned his first Homer decal of the season. Ryker Jones took home the Effort Chain and the game ball for his field play and his first Homerun of the season.

After a couple of Runner-Up finishes, Ambush came home as CHAMPIONS 🏆

Ambush wore pink socks with black tiger stripes, pink arm bands and pink belts to honor all of our Ambush Moms and everything they do for us to make every experience special! The boys honored their mothers after the championship win with a rose!
